Christmas is comeing and I'm so very excited for many reasons other than it's just that time of year. Six years ago my husband and I moved from our home town in California to Arizona and all but our youngest daughter moved here too. Her husband could'nt because of his job. A few short months later our daughter became pregent with her first baby and we were all so happy to say the least. I was with my daughter and son-in-law when Emily made her grand entrance and two years later her little sister, Lauren, was born and what a doll she is. Anyway, long story short they are now 4 and a half and 2 and a half and two beautiful little girls. I don't see them as much as I'd like to but they will be coming to visit with mom and dad for the new year and of course we do Christmas all over again. They were in there first little Christmas program at there pre school and of course pictures were taken and a couple of videos of there little musical. It just warmed my heart when I watched the video and, it took me back down memory lane of when there mom and the rest of my kids were little. Hope you have a second to take a look at the pictures, these two are real characters! Here's hoping you all have a wonderful holiday!

My first Christmas Card ♥
Good Morning All and Happy day before Thanksgiving!! Hope all of you that celebrate this wonderful holiday have a great day. We are having family and friends over and are getting ready to stuff our selves silly. We spend so much time getting ready for this day and then it seems to go by so fast! I have been able to take a couple of days off before "Black Friday" and thought I would make my first ever Maggie christmas card. She's not really a christmas stamp but is cute just the same. She is called Stylish Tilda and absolutly adorable!
I colored her with copics, prismacolor pencils and distress inks. The embelishments are from my local craft store. I had alot of fun coloring her and still have alot to learn in both coloring and composing the card it self but with practice and my desire to learn I'll get there! All my new maggie friends are such an inspration to me, such talented people you are!

Well, it's about time I posted on my blog! With my land line job and 2 Etsy shops and all the other day to day stuff it's been difficult getting back here. I've been able to comment on alot of beautiful cards in my maggie group but that's about all but now all that has changed because I have a card to share YEA!!! Hope you like it. Not sure of her name but I just love this stamp. I used copics and prismacolor pencils as well as flowers from Wild Orchid and other embellishments from my local craft store. Please let me know what you think, comments are always welcome!

AUTUMN'S IN THE AIR!!!!
There's nothing like cool autumn days after a loooong hot summer and I think little Tilda is on the right track. How adorable she is having such a good time. Wish I could join her!
I used Distress inks in brokin china and tattered rose for here clothes, copic markers for her skin and hair and prismacolor pencils for the leaves.

THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING!!!!!
WOW! The holidays are almost upon us and still so much to do (sigh) so I just wanted to post my first card for the holidays. As a matter of fact it's my first post and first card I've ever made. I am brand new to blogging so any tips would sure help. I plan on making more cards and doing more posting and I hope you will come take a peek when you have the time. This cute scarecrow and cornstock is a digi stamp by Karen's Doodles. I used prismacolor pencils to color it in and blended with Sansodor (low order solvent).
